Crushing performance of pultruded GFRP angle section with various connections and joints on lattice towers

The significant features of the GFRP angle make it one modern construction members for present lattice-type Transmission Line Towers (TLT) made out mild steel. structural with gusset plate connections net-crushing strength are investigated in this study, an emphasis on to transmission line towers. Forty-two specimens single-lap, butt joints bolted considered study. and edge distance have different widths. joint is subjected a compression load before failure modes associated loads were noticed. An experimental investigation crushing behaviour sections determine performance against standard force such as bolted, adhesive, hybrid (bolted + adhesive) various (butt lap) has been carried presented.
